April 2019: Internships, Employment, and Volunteering

UCSC Sustainability Office Carbon Fund
The Carbon Fund is hiring a student employee as a Carbon Fund Program Coordinator! We are looking to complete the hiring process early Spring quarter, with the student continuing for the remainder of the academic year and the 2019-2020 academic year. The Carbon Fund student fee measure was established in 2010, providing over $100,000 in grant funding annually to support projects that help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as well as supporting sustainability education and social justice initiatives on campus and in our local community. A student Coordinator will have the opportunity to work with Sustainability Office staff to support these projects, as well as gain valuable experience in organization and committee administration, reviewing grant proposals, campus operations, climate change mitigation efforts, and more! To apply, visit the Career Center website and search for position #7314 or, to be considered for a scholarship instead of hourly pay, send your resume and cover letter to ekericks@ucsc.edu. If you have any questions, please let us know at carbon@ucsc.edu.
